McCarthy’s, Tequesta  Re-Opens in Style!

As our faithful patrons know, Monday evening at McCarthy’s Restaurant and Pub in

Tequesta, Florida has been a home away from home for Noel for the past eleven years. And so, when the news that it was closing the doors came, it was a traumatic experience, not only for Noel, but for all the many people who have enjoyed the food, drink, ambience and, yes, the entertainment down through the years. Noel’s phone and e-mail box were full of concerned messages—what’s the story with McCarthy’s? 

Will it reopen? If so, when?

Enter BRENDAN GRACE  and his son-in-law FRANK GILLESPIE!

                           Brendan is, of course, Ireland’s ambassador extraordinaire to the world of Irish comedy and song. Frank has been in the pub/restaurant business all his life, having owned some of Boston’s most successful Irish establishments. Put all these qualifications together and you have a new, sparkling McCarthy’s in which to continue the many years of enjoyment and relaxation.

The Grand Opening was a four day event in September and it was a smashing success. Noel entertained all four nights, and of course, the piece-de-resistance was the appearance on stage of  Brendan Grace himself who had the place in uproarious laughter. If the opening was any indication, there are some great times in store for the patrons. This year will mark the twelfth consecutive season that NOEL will be performing at McCarthy’s.  Beginning in October, he will be on stage every MONDAY evening and every FRIDAY evening entertaining in his own inimitable style - entertaining throngs of people who love to relax in the comfortable surroundings that make McCarthy’s the popular venue that it is.

Year after year the patrons come flocking back to this very fine establishment to savor the delectable food, to imbibe the excellent beverages and to enjoy the entertainment that is provided in an ambiance that is second to none.
